Tullamore Hospital the most overcrowded in Ireland today
INMO Trolley and Ward Watch figures show Tullamore Hospital is the most overcrowded in the country today.
The HSE has again activated its Escalation Policy at the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore. It is asking people to consider visiting their GP or MIDOC service before attending.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation(INMO)’s Trolley and Ward Watch figures recorded 34 people at Tullamore Hospital this morning(Tuesday, May 3). It was the highest number in the country ahead of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda on 30 and Beaumont Hospital in Dublin on 27.
In neighbouring Westmeath, the INMO recorded 24 peope on its Trolley and Ward Watch figures at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar while there were 23 people on the INMO's Trolley and Ward Watch list at the Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.
