HSE Escalation Policy activated at Tullamore Hospital

Tullamore Hospital is the most overcrowded hospital in the Midlands today, according to the INMO.

The HSE has activated its Escalation Policy at the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore.

Trolley and Ward Watch figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation(IMNO) revealed that there were 33 people awaiting admission in Tullamore this morning.

The Trolley and Ward Watch figure for Tullamore is the second highest in the country, with only Beaumont in Dublin higher at 42.
