Man injured in Kilcormac crash transferred to Beaumont
On of the two men injured in a crash in Kilcormac yesterday is in a serious condition in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin today.
Gardai at Birr are appealing for information following the single vehicle crash at Broughal, Kilcormac at around 2pm on Thursday afternoon.
The two local men, who are in their early 20s, were in a white two door coupe which left the Kilcormac to Ferbane Road and entered a field at Broughal. They were rushed to the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore and one of the men was later transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.
The second man remains in hospital in Tullamore with what are thought to be non life-threatening injuries.
Gardai closed the road and conducted an examination of the scene following the collision. It was re-opened at around 8pm last night.
