Gardai issue appeal over suspected livestock theft
Gardai have appealed for information following the suspected theft of 16 cattle from farmland near Cloghan last week.
The 12 cows and four bullocks went missing from a farm at Huntston, Cloghan between the night of Monday, March 28 and Tuesday, March 29. The animals are believed to be worth several thousand euro.
Gardai in Banagher said the cattle had been located at land at Huntston near Clonony close to the R357 Cloghan to Shannonbridge Road.
