Offaly lotto player in the money

One lucky Offaly Lotto player is almost €290,000 richer after Wednesday’s draw.

The winning match 5 plus bonus prize ticket, worth a cool €287,135, was sold in Spar Express, Hill Street, Cloghan. The €5 Quick Pick ticket was sold earlier that day.

Luckily for the winner, it is the biggest ever Match 5 plus Bonus prize in National Lottery history.

Wednesday’s draw was a double win for the Midlands, with the overall winning ticket sold in SuperValu in Ballymahon. The €20 normal play, multi-draw ticket was purchased last Thursday.

The winning numbers for Wednesday’s Lotto draw were 4, 9, 27, 31, 38 and 39.  The bonus number was    10.

Winners have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize.
