Eamonn kelly set to be new hurling boss
Tipperary native Eamonn Kelly is set to be new manager of the Offaly hurling team.
Kelly recently resigned as the manager of the Kerry hurling team after enjoying a fruitful two year period with the Kingdom. Not only did he guide them to championship, they also won promotion to Division 1B of the NHL.
Former Tipperary supremo Liam Sheedy chaired the committee entrusted with finding a new manager following the resignation of Brian Whelahan this summer.
Kelly's nomination is expected to ratified when it goes in front of Offaly County Board next Tuesday.
