Tom furlong passes away

It is being reported that legendary Offaly and New York footballer Tom Furlong has passed away.
Irish Daily Mirror GAA Correspondent Pat Nolan wrote a book about Tom and his family entitled 'The Furlongs- The Story of a Remarkable Family' last year.
It's understood Mr Furlong passed away at his home in Florida. He was 71 years old.
