Warning issued over dense fog

Met Eireann has issued a Status Orange weather warning in relation to dense fog this morning.

Met Eireann warned of 'widespread fog, dense especially in Midland and eastern areas with some very poor visibilities for a time this morning.'

Meanwhile, AA Roadwatch said there was fog in many parts of the country and it urged motorists to use their fog lights while driving this morning.
