Severe frost forecast tonight

Met Eireann is predicting a cold night with a sharp to severe frost and icy patches on untreated surfaces.

Temperatures will dip to -4 degrees Celsius with a fog developing in places.


On Thursday morning frost, ice and fog will clear slowly to give way to a bright day with sunny spells and highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees Celsius.
