Heatons and sportsworld open in edenderry

Tesco Edenderry is being re-launched today (Friday), with the introduction of a new Heatons/SportsWorld store. 

The store, which has been refurbished to the tune of something in the region of €750,000 over the summer, will be officially re-launched by Tesco store manager Sean Donohoe, while a number of local suppliers will also be on hand to showcase produce as part of a new Tesco bakery and new meat and fresh food layouts.

It’s understood something in the region of 25 jobs have been created by the introduction of Heatons/SportsWorld, which includes men’s, women’s and kid’s fashion as well as homewares and sportswear.

While being a store within a store, Heatons and SportsWorld will be self-contained with its own entrance. 

Heatons will include men’s, women’s and kid’s fashion as well as homewares. 
SportsWorld will include the best of football, GAA, running and fitness, swim, golf and sports leisure brands. 

Tesco will continue to offer food, F&F clothes and its usual range of products.
