Birr man in trivago ad band

Anyone who watches television can’t but have happened upon the latest Trivago ad, which uses a song called 'Never’ by the band All The Luck In The World.

Twenty-one-year-old drummer Peter Kelly from Birr is part of that band, and is this week looking forward to his next big gig - Electric Picnic.

Peter joined All The Luck In The World last December, after founder member Neil Foot had been approached by Trivago regarding using the song 'Never' in its ad.

While other band members Neil Foot, Ben Connolly and Kelvin Barr plan to take time out from their studies at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) in Dublin to concentrate on All The Luck In The World, Peter, who has only one year of study left, is planning on combining both college and band work next year.

“I want to keep my options open as well,” he explained, adding that his goal is to work as a full-time musician after his studies.

Despite being keen to keep his options open, Peter said he’s really enjoying the experience as part of All The Luck In The World, particularly when it means hearing their song on the radio.

“I do get a bit of a thrill,” he admitted, adding that the catchy tune is “getting so much airplay it’s ridiculous”.
