Average offaly dental care prices revealed in new research
New research has revealed the average price of dental care in Offaly, and shows how it stacks up againts average prices in other counties.
According to the new research from private healthcare search engine WhatClinic.com, fillings in Offaly cost €72, a consultation will set you back €30, whitening costs a whopping €283, cleaning will lead to a bill of €48 and extractions will mean paying out €73 on average.
Nationwide the average prices reported by WhatClinic.com are €72 for fillings, €45 for consultations, €262 for whitenings, €55 for cleanings and €76 for extractions.
While Offaly doesn’t fare too badly compared to national average prices, it’s not the cheapest place in the country to get work done either.
For that customers have to look to neighbouring Westmeath for consultations and whitenings (€28 and €159 respectively), Monaghan for fillings (€58), Donegal for cleanings (€38), and Cavan for extractions (€50).
Counties with the highest average prices for work include Mayo for fillings (€88), Cork for consultations (€64), Kerry for whitenings and cleanings (€388 and €64 respectively) and Carlow for extractions (€93).
