Investigations continue into Clara shooting

Gardaí are continuing to investigate an incident that saw shots fired at a house in Clara in the early hours of Saturday last, August 25. Anyone who was in the Heather Grove area of Clara between 1.30am and 3am on August 25 is asked to contact Tullamore garda station on 057 9327052, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station. According to gardaí shots were fired through the front door of the house in Heather Grove at approximately 2.15am. There were a number of persons in the house at the time, but no injuries were sustained during the attack. The scene of the incident was preserved for a full technical examination.
