June is National Skin Health Month with Vichy

With National Skin Health Month just about to begin Vichy Laboratories has revealed that some 69% of Irish women incorrectly diagnose their skin type. Vichy Laboratories, the number one skincare brand in European pharmacies, has announced the launch of National Skin Health Month taking place across Ireland in June. National Skin Health Month will see Vichy bring their clinical skin expertise, unique skin knowledge and scientific analysis tools to the nation. Vichy"s mission is to offer impartial advice and educate people so that they understand their skin"s individual needs in order to optimise skin health and achieve healthy beautiful skin. Nearly 70% of Irish women incorrectly diagnose their skin type and therefore risk choosing incorrect products which provide disappointing results. Vichy is offering Irish people the opportunity to understand their skin"s individual needs. To coincide with Skin Health Month Vichy will launch an initial roll-out in 15 top pharmacies of the patented Dermo-Analyzer, a scientifically developed skin diagnosis tool. This tool is a result of 12 years of research and development in collaboration with dermatologists, resulting in four patents. The Dermo·Analyzer scans key areas of the face to take an accurate reading of your skin. This diagnosis will determine which of the 7,000 skin profiles you are. The Dermo·Analyzer thoroughly assesses and diagnoses six specific aspects of the skin including: - Hydration level: Skin type analysis - Skin tone: Skin sensitivity - Sun damage and skin pigmentation: Skin age In addition to the Dermo·Analyzer tool, an additional 45 pharmacies nationwide will be showcasing the new Vichy Skinconsult tool. This hand held skin health evaluation tool can carry out four different types of analysis, including sebum evaluation, skin hydration, skin pigmentation and skin ageing, all in fewer than three minutes. The public are invited to have a complimentary skin health diagnosis where they will receive a professional assessment of their skin. This can be carried out at one of the Skin Health Centre destinations or one of the 60 participating pharmacies across Ireland. This complimentary service will allow the Dermo-Advisor to expertly identify the consumer"s skin type resulting in a skincare prescription of recommended products and a skincare routine, suitable to their individual skin type and needs. Customers will also leave with complimentary personalised samples to suit their skin care routine.
