Sleeping Beauty in Birr

The PwC Players make a welcome return to Birr Theatre and Arts Centre with their production of Sleeping Beauty on today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday). At the christening of the beautiful princess Aurora the evil Fairy Carabosse, cursed the princess so that before her 18th birthday she would prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die. Featuring all your favourite panto characters the good fairy, the bad fairy, the handsome prince, the beautiful princess and, of course, the hilarious dame Nanny Nora, Sleeping Beauty guarantees to be a fun-packed traditional family pantomime for all ages.
