Fundraisers organised for Ballycumber man

Three fundraising events are taking place in February and March in order to raise funds to assist Trevor Flynn from The Island, Ballycumber who was seriously injured in a car accident in May 2008. The committee 'Friends of Trevor Flynn' was formed to raise funds to assist Trevor in his recovery. First up is a bowling tournament, taking place in the Cosmic Bowl Tullamore on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday February 16-18. Teams of four cost €80. Next up on Saturday March 1 is a Tractor/Vintage Car/Bicycle Run departing from The Thatch, Rahan at 10am, going to Ballycumber via Pullough and returns to The Thatch, Rahan. Finally there will be a Benefit Night in The Thatch, Rahan on March 7 with entertainment provided by local musicians and there will also be an auction.
