Music for all ages

The Tullamore Band under the direction of Ciaran Gilligan performed a selection of Christmas Carols, marches and other popular tunes, before a very appreciative audience at the Bridge Centre last Sunday afternoon. The band master invited very young and not so young members of the audience to conduct the band. The Town Band performs again at the same venue this coming Sunday, December 21, between 5pm and 6.30pm. Anyone wishing to become a member of the band, may contact the band at any public recital or drop in to the band practice on Wednesday nights at 8pm in the Methodist Church Hall.
