But it was Jenny Lynch who finished the day with two brilliant finishes including a rasper from 20 yards out for another outstanding win by this strong squad. Under-11 Boys Premier: Mucklagh 4, Killeigh 2 The boys are improving with every game but couldn"t recover from a early 3-0 lead that they conceded to Mucklagh. Under-11 Boys Major: Mullingar 0, Killeigh 1 A slow start by the boys in Mullingar put them under some pressure in the first 15 minutes as the opposition came at them with everything they had. But a resolute defence of John Tobin, Barry Mooney, Clint Horan and Daire Foley protected James Boland in goal. The midfield of Colm McDermott, Brendan Crilly, Shane Tierney and Dylan Hyland helped to take the game to their hosts as the Killeigh boys began to gain a foothold in the game. Up front Pierce Cleary and Jack O"Brien worked hard to create chances but the Mullingar keeper was in excellent form and kept the game scoreless till the break. The second half saw Liam Langton take on the role of out-and-out striker with Peter Norris supporting him. Adam McDermott helped shore up the centre of the defence as Killeigh began to take control. Wave after wave of attack was repelled by the Mullingar defence and in particular their outstanding goalkeeper. But a magnificent corner by Shane Tierney was met by Dylan Hyland to head home the only goal of the game. A cracker of a match by two wonderful football teams ended with Killeigh taking all three points. Under-14 Girls: Birr 0, Killeigh 4 Emma Purcell was back in goal for the Killeigh girls for this league match leaving Daisy Tysall the opportunity to shine in her first start at centre half. Maebh Coleman then set up Mairead Daly to rifle the second into the roof of the net. 10 minutes later and the roles were reversed as Mairead set Maebh up for a magnificent 20-yard shot into the top corner. After the break Celine Dunne and Zoe O"Connell came off the bench to add to the game. Sarah Keyes broke from midfield midway through the half to set up Celine.
